Raigarh Among the Most Air Polluted Cities in the World, Ranks 48

The most common culprit of air pollution, across is the burning of coal, oil, and gas, also leading to the climate crisis.

According to Green Peace Raigarh ranks 48 in the list of world's most polluted cities. The report is based on 2018 air quality data from public monitoring sources, such as government monitoring networks.

Big industries and power plants burning coal, without any filtration, like electrostatic precipitator (ESP) which removes fine particles, like dust and smoke, are a major cause for the alarming air pollution.
