Jharkhand Health Centre Constructed A Decade Ago But Never Got Operational

This is a prime example of wasting taxpayer's money. A public sub health centre in Jharkhand's Ramgarh district was constructed more than a decade ago. But it never got inaugurated or even functional. No doctors or hospital staff ever got recruited for the position. The two storey building lies in shambles and is a witness to large scale neglect by the administration.

Residents of Betul Khurd - a small village of about 7000 residents, and where the health centre lies, have to still travel about 15 kms away to Gola for any medical emergency. Villagers say that many times when patients are serious, they do not survive the journey.

Our Community Correspondent Bharti Kumari will keep tracking the progress in this case and will report on the Impact created.
