But it never got inaugurated or even functional. No doctors or hospital staff ever got recruited for the position. The two storey building lies in shambles and is a witness to large scale neglect by the administration.
Residents of Betul Khurd - a small village of about 7000 residents, and where the health centre lies, have to still travel about 15 kms away to Gola for any medical emergency. Villagers say that many times when patients are serious, they do not survive the journey.
