Woman Disabled After Sterilisation Awaits Justice

In 2011, Kanku Bai a woman from Rajasmand District of Rajasthan underwent sterilisation. Soon after the procedure, she started facing complications. Despite approaching local health facilities her condition did not improve. Over four years, her conditioned worsened. Today, she can neither walk, move her arms or speak. Her husband has left her and today, her mother in law and daughter take care of her.

Please call the medical officer of the Delwada Primary Health Centre on 02953-289492 and urge him to provide compensation and medical care to Kanku Bai.
