Cyber Cafe Visit – A Day’s Journey

Saroj, Community Correspondent for Video Volunteers in MP, documents the journey of a young woman from her village in Kundam block to the cyber cafe in Jabalpur town, 40kms away.

In terms of absolute numbers India has the 3rd largest number of people on the internet; Only 11% of the population has access to facilities. The scarcity of cyber cafes in Kundnam area severely restricts access of the population to Internet technology.

This video is a part of a series made in collaboration with Centre for Internet and Society, Bangalore documenting access to Internet across India.
