Rowdy Road

The main road which connects the Pandeypur area of Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh to rest of the district has been in the worse of shapes for 4 years. This route is used by more than 5000 people twice a day at least. Add to that the buses going in and out of the town everyday which is a fairly high number as well. 'Daily commuters are bound to travel on this road and are developing various health issues. A few have even elected to resign from work rather than taking this road.' says community correspondent Shabnam Begum, one of the many who have to travel on this route. Shabnam, the daily commuters and the resident community in Pandeypur area demand to have a proper road to make theirs and other's who use this road live's easier.
