No work for 3 years under MNREGA -Anil from Uttar Pradesh reports

The MGNREGA was initiated with the objective of "enhancing livelihood security in rural areas by providing at least 100 days of guaranteed wage employment in a financial year, to every household whose adult members volunteer to do unskilled manual work".

But the people of Kushal Village in Uttar Pradesh have had no access to any work in 3 years. 40 people from this village are jobless. The only question they ask is "How do we survive with no source of income?"
