Madhya Pradesh Doctor Allegedly Abuses Pregnant Woman For Her Dalit Identity

 

A case of discrimination against a pregnant Dalit woman has come forward from Murar district hospital in Madhya Pradesh's Gwalior district.

According to the victim, a lady doctor in Murar's district hospital allegedly abused and harrassed her because of her being a Dalit. This happened when the victim is pregnant and had come to the hospital for check up.

Women of the community protested against the act and have asked for the doctor to be brought to justice. The local police has been contacted and a complain has been registered. We will keep you updated of further developments to this story.
