Fed Up Villagers Boycott Voting in #BiharElections2020

Video Volunteers community correspondent Guddi Kumari reports from Rampur Parori village (ward no. 10) in Bihar's Sitamarhi district where villagers have decided to not vote in the state polls this year. They say that they feel cheated as all local leaders win elections on their votes but never do any developmental work in their village.

As Guddi takes a video tour of the village, you can see that there is no drainage system in the village. The locals say they were promised roads in the last polls but nothing has changed on the ground. Access to clean drinking water and other civic issues remain unresolved.
