BPL Senior Citizen Yet to Receive Pensions

Senior Citizens living below the poverty line have not received senior citizen pension for more than 5 years. The Madhu Babu Pension Scheme introduced in the state of Odisha in late 2007 promises a sum of Rs. 300/- to every citizen of the state over the age of 60. But IndiaUnheard Community Correspondent Dasarathi Behera reports from Tuleibani Block in Deogarh District that senior citizens from the local tribal community who are barely making ends meet have not been receiving their rights pensions.
