In context of the ongoing protests against the new farm laws, farmers have been accused of being naive and gullible to the opposition's moves of trying to derail development in the agriculture sector. However, in this video report published by our community correspondent Sita Kumari from Araria, Bihar we can see that farmers know how the new farm laws will harm the exisitng market practices and favour hoarders and black marketeers.
Farmers from Bihar took out a huge protest march in support of the nationwide protests happening against the new laws. The farmers believe that those who sell their produce at a lower price will be at a loss. While those who hoard it and artificially inflate the price will make a huge return. Unless the laws are withdrawn the farmers say they will not stop the protests.
