Food clothing and shelter are basic necessities for Human being. But some people of India have not getting these three needs. In Sayala village of Surendranagar District, Gujarat, Monghiben is one of them. She is belongs to the SC community (Scheduled Caste ) and has five members in her family. She is the only earning member. Without a concrete house, Monghiben and her family is living in 'Kutcha' house. Monghiben has faced many problems during the monsoon such as ceiling of her house leaks and there is no space to sit or keep the cot during the monsoon. In Gujarat, according to 'Ambedkar Awas Yojana' Scheduled Caste and B.P.L (Below Poverty Line) people get help by government to build a house, The aim of the scheme is to provide 'pucca' house to people who come under the SC and BPL (Below Poverty Line) category. Any homeless person belonging to scheduled castes, who has annual income of Rs. 24,000 can get benefit of this scheme. District Social Welfare Officer or District Social Welfare Inspector can provide all necessary details of this scheme. Monghiben and many people of SC Community and Under the BPL in Sayala village who are facing too much difficulties in all season.
