There is a road that travels through Kashedi Village. To the normal eye it doesn't look like much more than a dirt path but the Public Works Department claims it is in fact a road.
Built over a year in 2009-10, it didn't take long for it to start falling apart.
Mukesh Tudu, a resident of the village tells us about the problems everyone faces.
"Cars travel on the road and kick up the dust from the tracks. The neighbouring houses like mine are constantly covered in a layer of grime," he says.
District Collectors and Block Development Officers have all come and gone, made promises about fixing the road, but nothing has actually been done.
"Wouldn't it be better if they put tar on the road?", asks Mukesh.
Call to Action: Please call Mr. Gopal Prasad, Block Programme Officer, Churchoo on 9955390074 and ask him to make sure the road is fixed.
