Members of the Tollygunge football lovers association have served a prime example of working for humanity when in need. The members have divided themselves into small groups to coordinate relief efforts for the most neglected communities of Kolkata.
The football lovers have distributed masks, sanitizers, ration kits, fresh vegetables, and sanitary pads in their areas. They have also gone ahead and used their private vehicles to transport Covid-19 patients.
In places where spaces are restricted or are in slums, they have distributed cooked meals also. They have been doing this for over a year now and will continue to help people in need.
Kolkata has always been known as a football lovers city and now, with their humanitarian efforts, football lovers from the city have shown a different side to them.
