Sumeet Rawla is a social impact leader driven by a deep commitment to equity, a healthy and abundant planet, and is focused on initiatives that bring measurable change within finite timespans.At the height of a successful corporate career with the Tata group and AECOS, Sumeet decided to change her life and dedicate her efforts (pro bono) to lead Philanthropic Initiatives at Community Pure Water (CPW) where she has been instrumental in scaling sustainable, community-managed water micro-utilities — enabling generational socio-economic upliftment in rural communities across India.Sumeet brings a systems-level, governance-informed perspective to development initiatives. Sumeet has stewarded partnerships with corporate and institutional donors, translating CSR and philanthropic investments into durable infrastructure and institutional capacity.Her work aligns closely with public health outcomes, gender equity, climate resilience, poverty reduction, and an equitable society. CPW interventions have contributed to measurable improvements in community health indicators, reduced financial stress from preventable illness, improved school participation, and increased livelihood stability. Sumeet represents Community Pure Water on the Board of the India Philanthropy Alliance.The National CSR Leadership Congress honored Sumeet with the Sustainability Leadership Award in 2023; the World CSR Day Forum conferred Sumeet awards for Most Impactful CSR Leader - 2023, and Topmost Social Impact Leader – 2026, in recognition of her purpose-driven leadership.
