Primarily a peace practitioner, Shreya has been running an online forum for peace and dialogue between India and Pakistan since 2015. She holds a bachelor's in journalism and mass communications with Development Communication as her major. On finishing that, Shreya started to freelance as a documentary filmmaker with few national and international organisations like PRADAN, CARE India, Telenor, Taikisha India etc. Eventually, she pursued a PG Diploma in Community Media from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai where she was awarded the Best Student Award. Shreya considers filmmaking the strongest media tool to respond to social issues effectively and efficiently.
