Acclaimed as the finest of the young Indian actors, Abhay Deol studied arts in Los Angeles before making his debut with the Hindi film Socha Na Tha(2005). He signed on as the Ambassador of Video Volunteers in 2010 and since then he has been working to promote organization's goals along with taking time to interact with the Community Correspondents to give them some pointers and lots of motivation.

Deol devised and enacted the title role of Devdas in the 2009 film Dev.D.
