Community Correspondent Taha reports on floods in Kashmir. Taha reports from Nowgam area of Bandipora where the floods have washed away all the resources people had and disrupted their lives. A number of locals fled their homes leaving everything behind. Cattle and livestock have disappeared. The school in the area is finding it difficult to manage with all the stock washed away. Even the books given to children have been lost to floods. Now, with no books or any other academic material, they fear the adverse effects of this on children's academics. With no access to even basic facilities like drinking water, food & healthcare, the residents remain in danger even after the floods.
Taha requests the DC of Bandipora to take some immediate actions to restore the life back to normal of the residents of Nowgam. You can help by sharing this video.
