Govt. Cheats Women on Minimum Wage

Even as the government has regularized Rs. 120 as minimum wage, women laborers working on a government project in Jharkhand are being paid a paltry Rs. 80. Their male counterparts are being paid Rs. 110 for the same amount of work. The officials involved are pilfering from public funds, cheating the people of their rightful wages and indulging in gender inequality as a practice.
