Amit Joshi is an art teacher and Community Correspondent from Jodhpur, Rajasthan.

He is a firm believer in the transformative power of art and works as a high school art teacher. Amit set up his own NGO which helps to spread awareness on the problems the country is facing through art. He has also been a part of a Community Video Unit for a long time and understands the power of community media to empower and bring about change. Passionate about issues of water supply, poverty and the fight against the bureaucratic red tape, he wants the IU platform to become the global voice of his community.
