Position Summary
Voicelogue is seeking a Monitoring and Evaluation Manager (M & E) who will be responsible for the implementation of project activities for Voicelogue partners. This position requires outstanding organizational skills, interpersonal skills, drive, and initiative. The ideal candidate will bring critical and creative thinking to work with all relevant stakeholders and ensure smooth operations of Voicelogue on the ground.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with Executive leadership to develop, implement and manage a process monitoring and evaluation system.
- Develop M&E data collection tools, program metrics, data collection system, analysis, and dissemination plans.
- Train staff teams on the implementation of the reporting tools and M&E systems
- Assist the Program Team in bi-annual and annual program reviews and drafting of annual reports
- Work closely with external vendors to design, build, manage, and fine-tune MIS System
- Continuously follow up with field teams for reports and data from program activities across intervention regions
- Conduct regular reviews of data collected and share program-related information on achievements, gaps, and improvements with Program Directors and Executive Leadership
- Build Dashboards and Live Reports for use by Senior Management and Program Directors to enable better data-driven decision-making processes
- Work closely with Program leadership to conduct mid-term and end-line reviews of programs
- Periodically develop research design, data collection tools, and analysis for issue-based research on key issues
- Conduct analysis on data collected and draft quality analytical reports for different audiences
- Ensure quality of data through data verification procedures including routine data quality audits and that these are routinely carried out during the project lifecycle
- Ensure relevant data is entered into Voicelogue ’s organization-wide performance management system designed to capture, analyze, and disseminate project data
- Report on a weekly basis to the Operations Manager and Executive Director on the key areas of progress, future plans, and support needed for the accomplishment of tasks.
- Support in writing donor reporting activities including consolidation of relevant data, success stories, and evidence of impact
- Undertake regular training and capacity building of MIS assistants and field teams on data systems, reporting, and analysis
- Manage a team of MIS Assistants and undertake data validation checks, provide inputs on the development of MIS, and streamline data processes and reporting
Experience & Attributes:
- Minimum of two (2) years of professional experience in an M&E position responsible for implementing M&E activities of development projects.
- Experience in designing, implementing, and operating project M&E systems from project initiation to exit the stage.
- Experience in designing and managing beneficiary monitoring and database systems.
- Experience in planning and managing surveys, developing and refining data collection tools, and performing data quality assessments and oversight.
- Experience in capacity building and training of program partners and target beneficiaries on technical aspects and M&E framework of the organization.
- Ability to facilitate and serve as project liaison for externally-managed evaluations.
- Knowledge of the major evaluation methodologies (e.g. qualitative, quantitative, mixed-method, and impact) and data collection and analysis methodologies.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Postgraduate degree in Economics, Research, and Statistics from a reputed University
- 4-8 years experience in data analytics, monitoring systems, research, and cost-benefit analysis preferably in the development sector
- Prior experience and advanced knowledge of managing databases and analytical software systems (MS Excel, MS Office, SQL, STATA, R, SPSS, or SAS)
- Prior experience working/volunteering in the development sector, research agencies, or government institutions would be an advantage
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English & Hindi
Location: Goa
Compensation: 6-8.4 LPA, depending on the candidate’s experience.
