Manager/Senior Manager- Operations and Special Projects

Voicelogue Private Limited is a private limited company and a service partner to Video Volunteers. This position will be on the rolls of Voicelogue and work primarily on VV contracts/projects.

 

Primary Aim

The role of the operations manager is to lead the assigned project and to help ensure that we are working at our maximum efficiency. The primary responsibilities will be around client/funder contract deliverables by managing the assigned special projects from end to end. This will include creating tracking mechanisms for all deliverables, collecting information regularly about progress on each deliverable, working closely area leads to ensure that the deliverables are achieved, writing progress reports, participating in team meetings and sharing information about project progress 

 

Responsibilities

Create the project design keeping the key outputs and outcomes in mind

Collaborate with partners and clients to understand their requirements and incorporate them into the project design

Create monitoring excels and other documents by reading contracts and proposal to keep track progress of the project

Track deliverables and collect information. Raise and escalate instances of deviation from the agreement.

Call and lead periodic meetings to get updates on project deliverables

Collect anecdotal information to be used while writing the report

Roll out surveys

Facilitate show production by working closely with the show producers

Facilitate online (and post-COVID, offline) training of correspondents and project participants

Maintain an archive of photos, videos, articles and social media activities related to the project

Manage the specified social media handles and pages

Write the complete project report, including all the documentation that goes with it such as ppt attachments with case studies, quotes, impact stories, insights and learnings, that build the narrative for the innovations we attempted & insights we gained and examples of how we met the objectives.

 

Qualifications

5 to 10 years of experience in the development sector or in the private sector managing complex operations

Excellent English writing skills

Excellent Hindi reading and speaking skills

Process orientation

Understanding of rural realities and community-led development

Ability to multitask and keep track of various deliverables and projects

Knowledge of Excel, PPT and other office suite. Advance knowledge of Excel desirable.

Mature, respectful and calm demeanor

 

Desirable: Experience of working in behavior change communication in the area of public health

 

Location: This position will be based at our head office in Goa. The position may involve occasional travel

 

Salary: INR 40,000 to INR 60,000 per month depending on the experience
