Crumbling Government School in the Model State of Gujarat

This government school in Gujarat has been partially damaged during the 2016 monsoon. Since the roof collapsed, wrecking the two classrooms , children of class IV and V are studying in the open grounds. However, the children brave all weathers and still attend classes, eager for education. Under the Right to Education Act 2010, all schools should have separate rooms for the number of sections, for the students.

The teachers have repeatedly requested the competent authorities to undertake repairs. Their requested have yet not been conceded. Call the District Education Officer 0278-2439951 and take action.
