Community Correspondents

Manju Kisku

Manju Kisku is an India Unheard Community Correspondent from Hazaribag district, Jharkhand. As a young girl, she was unable to complete her education as her family faced dire economic circumstances. She has spent the last seven years working for the Chotanagpur Adivasi Samiti as an activist. Manju makes videos on issues that are close to her heart such as lack of maternal health and infrastructure facilities in her area. She hopes that by capturing the problems of her community on camera she can bring the plight of her people to the public eye and find solutions to these problems.
