Web Designer
VV’s website is dedicated to showcasing community video. Its purpose is to inspire viewers about the power of community media and encourage interactions between the online audience and the communities. The website creates a bridge between rural, unconnected communities and the global web audience. This is a position for someone interested to bring communities across the digital divide and to take on the challenge of engaging mainstream audiences in community media. Your responsibilities will be to design and maintain the websites, manage the online community, and you will also be involved in aspects like sms reporting and implementing new technologies. The successful candidate will be skilled in using wordpress and also have great writing skills required for managing the online community. You should have at least three years experience in web design.
Location: Goa or Varanasi or possibly from your current base
Salary: Rs. 10,000-18,000 depending on years of experience and writing skills.
