Program Coordinator
The Project Coordinator position is great for someone who is interested journalism and film and in working with communities. The position is responsible for the day to day coordination of the Community Correspondents’ network and so gives deep experience in creating community media programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate on a daily basis with the community correspondents in the field and help them with their videos
- Arrange meetings and events, such as group trainings, conferences and meetings for partnership and funding
- interview potential Community Correspondents
- Draft correspondence
- Handle purchases
- Maintain program data
- Communicate with new potential partners
- Research and purchase equipment
- Coordinate interns
- Assist in office management and handle admin for the program
Qualifications
- Great writing skills in English
- Speaks Hindi and English
- Passionate communicator with ability to motivate and inspire people you work
- Great organizational skills
